Tutorials: Computer Viruses

Link: tutorial
In class we watched tutorials of our choice in class.  I watched one about computer viruses.  I learned about the different types of computer viruses; viruses, worms and trojans.  Computer viruses are viruses that are part of shared documents, presentations ect.  The virus can then multiply and move to a new computer, spreading themselves.
Worms are viruses that do not need a human to send them anywhere, they spread automatically, created by criminals.  Worms find a way to get into your computer without your computer "realizing" that there is a virus coming into it.
The last type of virus is a trojan.  They are in computer downloads.  They trick you into downloading programs.  They carry many little viruses, just like the real trojan horse.  The viruses can then spread from computer to computer.
To protect your computer, I learned that you should keep all applications up to date and download anti virus systems.  I really enjoyed this tutorial because it was informative.  They made their topic clear and showed everything that they were going to talk about with details.  I hope you liked this tutorial as much as I did!
